At MARS Football Foundation, the safety and well-being of every child in our programs is our top priority. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting children and ensuring a secure environment.
Mars’ “Child Protection Policy” strives to be fully compliant with AIFF’s CHILD SAFEGUARDING POLICY AND FRAMEWORK which can be referenced at https://www.the-aiff.com/media/uploads/2023/06/AIFF-CHILD-SAFEGUARDING_compressed-1.pdf
We're dedicated to safeguarding children under 18 years old from harm, both online and offline. Our policy applies to everyone involved, including staff, volunteers, coaches, parents/guardians, and participants.
We have a designated Safeguarding Officer who ensures this policy's implementation. They're the go-to person for all child protection concerns, offering support, advice, and coordination with external agencies.
We screen all staff and volunteers and provide regular training on child protection. Our goal is to stay informed and equipped to ensure the best care for children.
If you suspect any form of abuse or worry about a child's welfare, report it to our Safeguarding Officer. We follow a proper reporting flow chart for timely action.
Your concerns are treated confidentially and shared only with those who need to know. Parents/guardians are partners in ensuring safety. We'll inform you about our policy and how you can contribute.
We have a zero-tolerance policy against bullying and harassment. We set codes of conduct for all, ensuring a respectful and secure environment for everyone.
We follow guidelines for photography and recording to ensure privacy and safety.
This policy is regularly reviewed and updated as needed to match current laws and best practices.
